Swift SW200DL microscope is a good budget microscope. It has 3 objectives and 2 types of lenses. The 3 objectives are: 4x, 10x and 40x. The lenses are a 10x lens, and a 25x lens. The maximum magnification, hence, is 40x * 25x = 1000x. There are two types of illumination: a transmitted illumination, and a reflected illumination.
