The prism to the eyepieces is cracked. The crack is almost not noticeable. See the last photograph. There are two prisms in the trinocular tube. The prism that spits the image to the eyepieces and the camera is in original condition. It is clean and without defect. The prism that directs all illumination to the eyepieces has a crack. The crack is in the upper left hand area of the image path. The crack obstructs about 15% of the illumination path. When viewing a specimen in the 100% mode to the eyepiece there is some darkening in the affected area with some adjustments of the aperature diaphragm. When viewing the specimen in camera-and-eyepiece mode there is no defect in camera or eyepiece illumination. Lamp with 6 volt 30 watt bulb with line cord.
